I've reviewed most, if not all, of the submitted videos. These just have to be the top 5.
My rankings:
1. Pulp McCain
2. Elvis McCain
3. The Wizard of McCain
4. McTeletubbies
5. McCain Colbert

I am no marketing genius. But, I feel, I am the typical American woman. I know what will get me to buy, visit, spend my money better than the average bear. That's why I don't understand the following ad campaigns.
Lumiere Casino This is a new Casino in St Louis. It is being marketed as for the glamorous, beautiful people. I am not insinuating there are not beautiful and glamorous folks here. I am saying we are humble Mid-westerners who don't readily admit we are beautiful and/or glamorous. Thus, we will not feel qualified to visit your establishment. I wondered if I was the only one thinking this. But, at work the other day the topic of casinos came up (not an unusual topic for my co-workers). When I asked if anyone had been to Lumiere a few joked that "Oh, I am not beautiful enough to go." It was both men and women stating this sentiment.
MySpace Dating Ad Then there is the MySpace Dating Ad that comes up occassionally. I think the name of the site they are advertising is Plentyoffish.com. Regardless of the name, my point is that they state on their banner ad that "we delete Members unfit to date". Really?! I mean, we must summon a ton of courage to even consider the prospect of online matchmaking/dating. I am not sure if the bulk of us have enough courage to go in knowing we may (probably will?) be deleted for being "unfit". I am sure most of think we must be unfit or else we wouldn't even consider an online dating service. Not really the way to sell your service--unless egotistical monsters are your core audience. I am beginning to think their name is not Plenty of fish, but we kick plenty off-ish our site.

Serial Killer in our Midst
Okay. Tuesdays I do not work. My one sole day off from every job. Thus, I spent the day yesterday doing yard work then relaxing in the pool. Thus, I completely missed that St Louis was being terrorized by a serial killer. Or was it more of a killing spree?
Well, I woke up today with news the suspect (Sheley) had been arrested last night. I just checked the Post's website there is a story with the following headline:
Can someone tell me why they hell couldn't this guy be held without bail? I mean really 8 people are dead! We could have more if this guy could come up with the $100,000 bond for his $1 million bail.

George Bush Doesn't Care About Wet People
Okay, the clips I was looking for originally. Was watching this few weeks old episode last night. Since I am in/near the flood zone this hit home, but more hit my funny bone.

Crude Awakening
Came across this Comedy Central's The Daily Show clip from March when looking for something else. The most glaring thing is how much funnier (or should I say "more true") it is 4 months later.
