Will Lori Drew go to Prison?

Looks like Jack Banas finally is getting off his tush and looking into the suicide of Megan Meiers. According to the local newspaper (Suburban Journals), it looks like the St Charles County Prosecutor is finally going to begin an investigation on Lori Drew.
For those of you out-of-the-loop, Lori Drew is the evil woman who went online, posing as a teenager to lure Megan Meiers. Subsequently, Megan took her own life.
There isn't a dark enough corner of a jail cell that is fit for this woman. I hope she rots.
And then I hope they charge her 18-year-old accomplice, though I am not sure that person deserves prison. Granted this person was doing their employers bidding, however this person is old enough to know to walk away when the employer asks you to do wrong.

What took Banas so long to start to investigate? I am sure it is because he is elected to his position and has heard the overwhelming outcry of the people of St Charles County.

Yes she has. The Post (the bigger local paper) covered the story today.
In the story they said the subdivision has shunned the Drews. Even said the next-door-neighbor flips them the bird each time he sees them. That's the least of what they deserve, but hopefully PA Banas will give Lori a nice women's prison address in the near future.

As far as I can Tell Lori Drew violated the
THE US COMMUNICATIONS DECENCY ACT OF 1996
While the Communications Act referred only to "interstate or foreign communication (harassment) by means of telephone", the amended version proposed in 1996 (called the Telecommunications Act) changed that text to refer instead to "interstate or foreign communication (harassment) by means of a telecommunications device." This change was brought about directly by the rise of harassment on the rapidly growing Internet, and the subsequent lack of legislation to deal with it.
Title V of this bill was named Obscene Or Harassing Use Of Telecommunications Facilities Under The Communications Act Of 1934. Section. 501 of this new bill named it the Communications Decency Act of 1996, and proposed to amend the Communications Act to make illegal the use of a telecommunications device (i.e. including Internet technology) that:
makes, creates, or solicits, and initiates the transmission of, any comment, request, suggestion, proposal, image, or other communication which is obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, or indecent, with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass another person
-or-
makes a telephone call or utilizes a telecommunications device, whether or not conversation or communication ensues, without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person at the called number or who receives the communications;
-or-
makes repeated telephone calls or repeatedly initiates communication with a telecommunications device, during which conversation or communication ensues, solely to harass any person at the called number or who receives the communication.
These US Federal anti cyberstalking laws were passed in 1996. While other parts of the CDA failed to satisfy the US Supreme Court and were struck down as infringing on Free Speech, the anti cyberstalking sections were not challenged.

All of these posts saying that the Drew Advantage is no longer operating are a lie. The family is actually starting to feel the wrath of the community through people calling her clients and threatening a boycott. These fake postings asking people to stop are OBVIOUSLY from the Drew family. This shows that it is working! Call these businesses up and let them know how you feel!

A couple of weeks ago apparently, someone called the cops and told them there was a man with a gun....the roared up with sirens blaring and guns drawn....went up to the Drew's door....LOL....Dipshit Curt answered the door....no gun. They've gotten bricks through windows, yard jobs, the whole community hates them. They really should move. I live in St. Charles and people here are outraged that nothing has been done to this disgusting, useless piece of flesh.
God Bless the Meier's. May their pain be eased some.
Please note that a lot of that (bricks, phone call) happened before Steve Pokin's story and Lori Drew's became the pariah of the nation.
Back then, she was just the pariah of the neighborhood.
