It's hot in the computer lab tonight.
I mentioned I would be the speaker at my graduation. I was and did a great job. By the time the ceremony rolled around I had practiced the speech so much I had it memorized. I didn't use notes and it made it seem as if I was speaking from the heart.
I visited Amish country at the beginning of June. They shun electricity but have natural gas powered fridges. I think if you're anti-technology, you should be anti-technology. These guys just seem to not like electricity. Perhaps the Amish had some beef with Ben Franklin.
I was accepted to Washington University. I also applied for some scholarships. Of course, attending will be dependent on that--otherwise it is not affordable.
If I don't go to WashU, I'm not sure what I will do as far as school is concerned.
This summer, we are learning Office 2007 in the computer lab. Interesting changes. Some things that are new are nice, some are just "huh?".
I am dog sitting this week with a dog that is so skittish she is scared of everyone and everything. Including me. I usually have quite a time getting her back in the house. This week, she must have taken charm pills. She comes in and even lays right in my lap and tries to lick my face. Go figure.
I'm getting tan from hanging so much at the pool. I might go tomorrow if the weather stays nice.
I hate mowing the lawn. Well, it's not so bad once I am actually in the process. I just have trouble getting the motivation.
I got the green light to do the Documentaries Across the Disciplines program at school. Yeah!
