Doing the Friday Dance

Now, I don't usually live for the weekend but I am so glad today is Friday. Mostly because Spring Break starts this weekend and so it's not much thought about school for a few days.

Also, I've been sick. Just a sore throat. Luckily, no coughing or chest congestion to accompany the sore throat. However, I have spent a few more hours in bed than I usually do. I was a very pitiful site at school yesterday. I just did a zombie-like walk around campus, feeling like death, to hang flyers for History Club. Some flyers may be hung upside-down as out of it as I was.

The bonus of sick is that I got to go to my favorite Sweet Tomatoes yesterday. I really wanted some soup. They didn't have any of my favorites, but the tomoato soup and the chicken noodle both hit the spot. I even skipped the whole ice cream dessert thing.

Speaking of skipping desserts, I am winning my work weight loss group thing. This is the group where for we have 10 weeks to lose 10 pounds. So far, I am down 11+. The pot for winners is around $450. Though there will probably be about ten winners, $45 is better than $0.

Well, I need to prepare my geography lesson for today. Today's country is Iraq. Not much news out there on that subject. Ha!
